Two different food buffs run together, and an elixir sits on top. Bring Vitality food for survivability or Crit food for damage windows.
A tent or Fast Travel Bell near the boss arena makes retries free. Bosses do not fully reset between attempts, so chip damage stacks across runs.
Bandages heal a lot out of combat. Repair kits work for ships during boss approaches that involve naval combat.
